DIY Hollywood (Red Carpet) Fire and Ice Facial at home.
This facial is used by celebrities to get a radiant glow and soft skin. Bring this luxurious treatment into your home when you can’t make it to the spa
Are you looking for a facial that will give you the same glowing, younger-looking skin as Halle Berry? Or maybe you want to know how Selena Gomez gets her skin so radiant?
If so, then you're in luck. Because we've got the insider info on the hottest and coolest facials in Hollywood—and how YOU can get them too!
Fire & Ice (also known as Red Carpet) Facials are the most talked about facial treatment in Hollywood. Using both heat and ice you can reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles while improving circulation and stimulating collagen production. It also helps improve uneven texture, balance oil production, soften fine lines and wrinkles – leaving you with a smoother and firmer complexion.
So how do you get this coveted treatment at home? We created this DIY version, so you can try it out yourself!
Before you begin, make sure to have the following items on hand:
Your favorite moisturizer or serum
Ice Dice (Get yours today click here)
A nice playlist of music (need inspiration? Click here to choose from our bdr curated playlists) to listen to while you pamper yourself!
Now that we have all of our materials in place, it's time to get started! First thing's first, choose a comfortable space where you won't be disturbed—I recommend putting some candles out and lighting them as well as playing some soothing music for a relaxing environment. Once your space is set up, cleanse your face using an oil-based cleanser and rinse with water afterwards; this will help remove any dirt or debris from your skin before applying any treatments. Next up is actually applying those treatments!
The Fire Facial: Use 2 of the Ice Dice in Relax (warm) Mode.
Warm Ice Dice helps to relax the skin and prepare it for deep cleansing and gives your facial muscles a nice relaxing massage which increases blood flow and promotes the production of collagen.
Start by submerging the sculpting dice into warm water for 20-30 seconds or when the desired heat level has been reached*.
Using a small amount of a creamy cleanser or cleansing oil, massage gently around your cheeks and forehead with circular motions as you move down over your neck.
Rinse off your face with warm water after massaging the dice around all those problem areas.
The Ice Facial: Use the remaining 2 ice dice in Chill (ice) Mode.
Ice Dice in “chill” mode helps acne products penetrate more efficiently and should be used before applying acne serums and creams.
Place 2 dice in a cold cup of water, the fridge or the freezer for as little as 5 minutes to achieve a chill effect.
Using a small amount of serum (or moisturizer), massage gently around your cheeks and forehead with circular motions as you move down over your neck.
Then apply moisturizer as needed and enjoy feeling like queen/king for an evening!
Now that you have this simple facial at home, you can give yourself a spa day whenever time permits—with or without the champagne!
We'd love to hear about your experience with it in the comments.
